I include “use the web for the following” in the very beginning and then enter my prompt. It uses bing every time. Just a tip.
It says it doesn’t have the capability to search the web in some of my chats and I can’t convince it otherwise. Kind of dumb
Opinions on the new web browsing feature in ChatGPT are mixed. While some users find it disappointing and even terrible [1], others have expressed concerns about its limitations and reliability [3]. Here's a breakdown of the feedback:
Limited and Inaccurate Outputs: Some users have found the outputs from the web browsing model to be rudimentary and often incorrect [1]. The feature may provide generic information instead of conducting thorough web research.
Lack of Information: OpenAI has not provided detailed information about how the Browse with Bing feature actually works [2]. This lack of transparency has left users questioning the functionality and effectiveness of the browsing capability.
Comparison to Other Plugins: Users have compared the Browse with Bing feature to other plugins available for ChatGPT Plus, such as WebPilot. In these comparisons, Browse with Bing has been found to be more limited and less reliable [2]. WebPilot, for example, has been praised for its web search functionality and the ability to provide more comprehensive and accurate results.
Concerns about Content Consumption: OpenAI's decision to limit ChatGPT's ability to read content from web pages to summaries of 100 words has raised concerns among users
great video. wow. a lot of room for improvement.
i dont see this option under my menu, did they get rid of this and is it done through the plugins? If so, which one? Thanks!
heavily nerfed. OG Bing Sydney and OG GPT-4 were legendary.
Yeah as i was watching u im like change user instructions what if u took them out and run?! Sometimes it gets stuck lost lol
Not that reliable for sure.
I recently asked my Google home assistant what was the price of gas at my local Sam's club and it said "I don't know but here's some results that match" while presenting a Google search on my nest hub Max.
Unsatisfied with the result I went in to chat with Bing and ask the same question and it got the answer flawlessly. Google is going to need to step up their ai game
It's bad. It's so so bad.
Thanbks, Igor. – Do you thin k that GPT is the best option for AI SEO content?
Thanks again man!
I have the plus subscription and don't see this option in my beta features
Ahh i was wondering what happend to this extension
Wow I’ve never seen someone turn the comments off on a short
Just remember without Ai, you are nothing but a 🤡.
The whole idea of an instructional video is not to zoom through it at 50,000 miles an hour. I can't even keep up with where you're clicking without pausing and rewinding the video. Slow down!
A little regulation isnt a bad thing. People could use this tech to rip all the text off a website and regurgitate it.
The Chrome extension WebChatGPT worked relatively well for many months, but recently (the last month or so) it seems to fail to get the infos from the links it finds on the web. It only shows the links. Either it says that its knowledge is limited to Sept 2021 but shows the recent links, or it gives the answers to the questions but in the answer you can see it gives the answer of what it was before Sept 2021.
Much better to use Bard if you want to have answers to your questions about things after Sept 2021. It is not perfect, but much better than GPT with any plug-ins.
interesting news but I think your book is a shit
huge disappointment
Google and Microsoft be protecting their search results cause…ad rev. Chatgpt just lifted up it's skirt and revealed a garter belt.
4:16 Maybe it saves the previous results so it doesnt need to use browsing each time or it simply does not show the 'browsing box' each time? It is better to rely on the content of the answer.
Thank you for this. This was my most used feature. I have to say it works with Bing Chat enterprise. Give it a try, this video deserve a part two
Yes got the same results, web browse was totally useless for SEO as well, it makes absolutely nothing with concrete url and just responds with generic information.
As long as it’s still text, Google is safe. Bring on image search….😬
I find that I am burning through message allotment though and clearly GPT4 has gotten WAY dumber
The web browsing function is a glorified search engine right now. Forget trying to get it to do in depth research from multiple sources.
I've had the most luck by instructing GPT to "Evaluate the Bing SERP and attempt to answer the question prior to accessing any specific sites." This probably doesn't help if you're looking for a list of things, but has been really helpful when asking simpler questions.
Well done, thanks for the update 🙂
it seems to be a bit dumb at browsing.
Can anyone access plugins andor the browsing feature in the chat gpt Android app?
Thanks Igor. Sooeo useful. Saved so much time testing.

Sucks, really. What a shame. Litigious societies aren't going to allow something incredibly capable, I fear.
There are days I'm amazed with generative AI. Most. Others, I have days basically… like this.
