9:49 Why you gotta call me out like that? XD
9:00 those levels of improvements must have been professional artists coming out of comas wtf 😂
9:50 that was too personal
0:11 ALL MY TALENT.. IT DOESN’T GROW IN TREES. ALL MY GREATNESS.. IT DOENT COME FOR FREE
7:25 i personally dont name my layers since i merge them all at some point eitherway so it dosent matter
Sam doesn't know how hard it is to do anime eyes 😭
Hahaha at 12:28 I was actually practicing hands.
What's that in the back
(15:00) i wouldn’t paint 😂 i would take the day off
You could also spray the front of the canvas you're painting… Y'know, the side you're painting on? I can't say for sure, but I imagine wetting an entire canvas all the way through will affect the fabrics and have it not sit the same, especially if it's poorly made/unevenly stretched.
Hail!❤😊
reason why I think it is better to use alcohol than water is because alcohol dries way quicker.
I have billions of sketchbooks but as a kid I thought everyone had at least 2 sketch books bc I thought they were the most awesome drawing thing a traditional artist could have and I still do and I'm still a kid (I'm 10)
One piece mentioned yayay
Using a white pencil to blend is a basically just showing you haven't been taught art (granted not everyone needs a teacher) using white desaturates your colors and can ruin drawings if overused.
me creating and naming all my layers before actually drawing:
so I recently started following you though Ive seen your stuff around before, your very funny and great rating/tips! I hope to learn a lot more from you and the artists you show lol also I'm sad I couldnt get a birb those were cute xD
RAID SHADOW LEGENDS?? REALLY??
i also add water to the back of my canvases, but not for the same reason as that lady, it doesn’t help with the painting directly, it just can tighten up loose cheap canvas. It’s really helpful for artists who can’t afford expensive canvas
i refuse to name my layers, maybe maybe if i’m doing a long project and i have a really important layer like the line work maaayyyybe be i’ll call it ‘line’, that’s the best you’re getting from me XD
I don't name my layers but I do name my groups
Why is this Sam so hot?
he got me on the weeb thing.
His little keep getting better and better..
I wouldn’t consider my self an artist more of like a doodler
WHY AM I ALWAYS YOUR 803RD LIKE??????
13:22 I didn't think about this usecase but someone told me that the canvas (and due to that also the frame) contracts a bit while water (or color) dries on it. To make it contract evenly you should spray the whole canvas with water before starting to paint.
I noticed that a canvas on which that wasn't done was bent so there is a gap between the wall and the canvas which wouldn't be there if you sprayed it before (I did try that)
I don't ever name my layers, i just look at the little picture 😭
"Who says anime doesn't have a market in the western world? Look at how many weebs we're surrounded by!"
Words right out of my mouth. 🤣
Also, shouldn't the canvas have a decently thick layer of gesso on the front? How much of that back water is getting through?
PLS SOMEONE TELL ME HOW MANY YEARS IT TAKES TO NOT BE A BEGGINER !!!!
help my hands are door knobs i think im turning into a drawer
"Drawers? Really? Do not call traditional ✨artists✨ &7+'8;* drawers! I do not hold your clothes! Or your cutlery! I might, if you keep calling us that!"
Draw obese hamster it would look cool
