What’s up guys, welcome back to Tick Tock Art Tips! I’ve lost count of which number we’re on, but I’m here to make sure Tick Tock is good for all the art babies out there. Let’s dive into some tips for improving your art, shall we?

One common struggle for artists is placing the eyes correctly on a face. Here’s a quick trick for you: cover half of the face and take a few seconds to imagine where the other eye would be. If, when you uncover the face, the eye isn’t where you imagined it, it’s probably in the wrong spot. This simple exercise can help you understand eye placement better.

If you’re struggling with your art style, here are a few tips to help you find it. Firstly, it takes time, so be patient with your progress. Secondly, look up artists who draw in a style you admire and take note of what makes their art stand out. Finally, practice, practice, practice! Don’t be afraid to try new things and experiment with different styles.

Another important tip for artists is to build a strong portfolio. If you’re looking to become a character designer, include character turnarounds, expression sheets, and walk cycles in your portfolio. These elements can showcase your skills and creativity to potential clients or employers.

When it comes to digital art, remember to take care of your tools. Don’t dip your brushes all the way into the paint, as this can damage them. Instead, just dip the tip for better longevity. And if you need to switch brushes or take a break, be sure to clean them properly to preserve their quality.

Procreate users, listen up! There are some handy tips you may not have known about. Adjusting the threshold can help eliminate white borders around shapes, making them look cleaner. You can also tap on shapes to turn them into perfect circles or squares, adding precision to your work. And don’t forget, you can drag layers between projects in the layer panel, making organization a breeze.

Overall, the quality of art tips on Tick Tock seems to be improving, with creators sharing valuable insights and tricks for artists of all levels. Remember, practice, patience, and experimentation are key to improving your art skills. So, keep creating, keep learning, and have fun with your artistic journey!

That’s all for now, folks. Don’t forget to like, subscribe, and share the love for art. Until next time, happy creating!

  1. If there is one thing I like about his videos.. They aren’t Boring. Half the time people I know go into these lectures of “you need to do this” or “you need to draw the background” and blah-blah-blah but he actually makes it fun to be honest and he gave his opinions about others arts whispers unlike some artist I know- but yeah. Well I’m gonna go and watch some more videos of his for fun. So bye.
