This plan was created to address extended wait times experienced by ChatGPT users due to the quick surge in its popularity after it was unveiled last November. ChatGPT Plus offers faster response times and guarantees general access even during peak times when the free version is at capacity. Subscribers also get early access to new features, improvements, and OpenAI’s latest updates including GPT-4, ChatGPT plugins, DALL-E 3’s image generation, access to the internet, and more. Despite the advantages, OpenAI had to pause ChatGPT Plus signups after an overwhelming demand following the announcement of the latest features. Users can sign up to be notified when the subscription reopens. If interested, users can log in to their account and click on the “Upgrade to Plus” button to complete the subscription process for ChatGPT Plus. The plan is considered worth the fee, as it offers priority access to upgrades, and has been tested to be smarter and more accurate than the free version.
