To promote faster integration of AI within the enterprise field, Wipro has launched a new initiative utilizing the capabilities of IBM’s watsonx AI and data platform.

The enhanced collaboration between Wipro and IBM merges Wipro’s extensive industry knowledge with IBM’s pioneering AI technologies. This partnership aims to create joint solutions that enable the deployment of strong, dependable, and enterprise-ready AI applications.

The Wipro Enterprise AI-Ready Platform takes advantage of various elements from the IBM watsonx suite, including watsonx.ai, watsonx.data, and watsonx.governance, alongside AI assistants. This platform provides clients with a complete range of tools, large language models (LLMs), streamlined workflows, and strong governance frameworks, establishing a solid base for the creation of future industry-specific analytic solutions.

Jo Debecker, Managing Partner & Global Head of Wipro FullStride Cloud, remarked: “Our extended partnership with IBM blends our profound contextual cloud, AI, and industry knowledge with IBM’s leading AI breakthrough capabilities.”

A significant component of this partnership is the launch of the IBM TechHub@Wipro, a centralized technology hub designed to bolster joint client engagements. This initiative will gather experts, engineers, resources, and processes to expedite AI projects.

Kate Woolley, General Manager of IBM Ecosystem, shared: “We’re excited to achieve this new milestone in our two-decade partnership to assist clients through the synergy of Wipro’s and IBM’s expertise and technology, incorporating watsonx.”

The Wipro Enterprise AI-Ready Platform provides the necessary infrastructure and core software for AI and generative AI applications, improving automation, dynamic resource management, and operational effectiveness in enterprises. It also addresses specialized industry needs, including banking, retail, healthcare, energy, and manufacturing, thereby delivering customized solutions for customer service, marketing, feedback assessment, and much more.

Nagendra Bandaru, Managing Partner and President of Wipro Enterprise Futuring, emphasized the adaptability of the platform, saying: “Wipro’s Enterprise AI-Ready Platform will empower clients to seamlessly integrate and standardize various data sources, enhancing AI- and GenAI-driven transformation across business sectors.”

In addition to promoting AI governance throughout the lifecycle, the platform emphasizes responsible AI practices, guaranteeing transparency, data security, and adherence to applicable laws and regulations.

As part of this partnership, Wipro employees will receive training in IBM hybrid cloud, AI, and data analytics technologies, further refining their skills in developing collaborative solutions.
