Last summer, Google launched NotebookLM, its “AI-first Notebook,” which utilizes the content you input to offer tasks such as summarizing the document, brainstorming, explaining, and providing key topics and questions for better understanding.

You can insert sources such as a Google Doc, PDF, or copied text, and then ask questions or have it generate content from your inputs. This can be particularly helpful for students who can input all their class notes and materials into one place, adding AI assistance to their notes and staying organized.

To test it, I inserted a PDF of my own article and within seconds, I received an accurate AI-generated summary. You can see my results in the image above.
