for more updates and amazing AI advancements in the world of video creation. And remember, none of the images you see here are real – every single one of these videos was created by AI with a simple text prompt. The possibilities are endless, and the future of AI-generated content is truly exciting. Let’s see what the future holds for Sora and other AI models as they continue to push the boundaries of creativity and imagination.

  1. This is a long read so feel free to skip and enjoy your day.

But here are my takes on the subject.

As crisp and hyperrealistic these A.I. generated videos are. They all still look very generic. They look like stock images and stock photos and I've seen this problem with A.I. generated images where the most realistic looking results looks very similar to each other. For scenes like this 2:26 and this 12:25 which look way more unique and interesting, it does look very amateurish. And then when we go to even more bizarre uncharted land like in this image 3:39, it becomes even more clunky and fake looking. So if the goal is generating a crisp and hyperrealistic but very generic image or video, then yes the A.I. is very good at that. But if you're looking to generate something more unique, more out of this world, the results gets to be less impressive, almost amateurish looking.

Another problem I have with this is that these aren't A.I. "art", they aren't A.I."animations". Calling yourself an artist or an animator, when you are essentially just a prompt button pusher asking a robot to do something for you because you can't do it yourself is just not a good approach at being creative, original or trying to be something new. So no, I heavily disagree that this will allow people to be able to make more original creations than what Hollywood is already pumping out these days. A lot of A.I. generated comics and webtoons rarely have a positive rating, with most of them having very negative reviews, mainly because of how the character design keeps changing in each panel, terrain and perspective isn't consistent and that's because it really boils down to relying on a software that is just basically guessing what the prompt wants to have.

  2. I can finally make the movies I want to see. I can fix the last 5 years Star Wars. I can finally make the 40k movie I've always wanted to see.
On the scary side, I am probably going to see the first AI false flag event and a lucid and coherent Joe Biden speech.

  3. Another natural step in the rulebased sequential creation of the digital integration of ever more complex structures ( predetermined in a McLuhanesque qubitbox) in Spacetime towards the infinite differentiaton of flows in the Digisphere. Nothing new under the sun-except the latent still undetected intersections.( AI automated sequencing will ultimately find them all though, and make them available to You- in a not too distant future- if you beleive Kurzweil is right!

  4. I don't think it's a mental model of how the world works but more predictive guesses of pixels based on what's being fed to it. You are what you eat 😂. You can see this in all thise details it gets wrong. That said, it's still pretty impressive.

  5. This is impressive, but the current AIs are still a long way from having agency and self awareness. They don't know what people are, they don't know what videos are, they don't know the difference between "true" and "false" – they don't have any sensory inputs of their own and don't have a brain equivalent. So yes, they're getting better at pattern recognition and manipulation – but they don't have anywhere near the computational capacity of a human brain, and lack the equivalents of the specialized hard wired processing for making sense out of their surroundings that human brains have. They can mimic people, but there is no person there. Roth says they "understand" things, and "think about"things – that's not what's going on here.

As this video narration shows, people are treating AIs more and more as if they are thinking in a general intelligence way – but they're not, they're a completely different thing. There's no person there.

  6. Uses; news outlet, govt. supplied home screen education, prompted AI self affirming suggestions . . . all RLHF recorded, catalogued, fed into re-re-training the CSV algorithm optimization. No need to eat, drink water, or leave the house again, ever. MATRIX Pod has arrived. Wahoo.
