AGI is BS. How the heck are these models scoring 80% of these tests, Chat GPT 3.5 is really bad at reasoning. Sure they do the 20-shot, but no one uses it like that. 0-shot for a basic prompt. Chat has never completely answered a question that I genuinely had. The test for me is ask Gemini/GPT 5 the same questions it answered poorly before. I call BS on "AI used to decode an ancient scroll" story AGI is still a tool that can help but doesn't get the job done. Apparently its good at coding but for everything else, google search offers better solutions.

I've heard a lot of concernposting over the years about deep fake videos, of a dangerous dystopic where constantly fake videos will be put out of politicians making speeches they've never made and stuff like that. I really don't think it's gonna be a big deal. It makes perfect sense that AI will be used to counter malicious AI, such as future technology having a kind of anti-malware that instantaneously spots AI generated content and gives you the option of highlighting all AI material with a little symbol to inform you it's not real.

C2PA sounds like a great idea, because I already have troubles distinguishing fakes from real things on X. But I wonder how it's gonna work, if you want to modify/retouch your AI generated photo in GIMP. I do that all the them because it rarely manages to generate exactly what I need. I don't mind C2PA to say it was "AI and GIMP generated".

The problem with Geminy for me, personally, is that it treats EACH message as a SEPARATE prompt/interaction. It is impossible to have a coherent conversation with recall of prior messages. As it is now, it definitely is not going to replace ChatGPT 4 for me.
