The use of generative AI technologies has been growing rapidly, including Microsoft’s AI image generator within Bing, powered by DALL-E 3, the latest project from OpenAI. This generation of AI can improve image quality, process prompt more accurately and produce images with enhanced details compared to previous versions.

You can access the Bing Image Creator through Bing Chat or directly on the tool’s website. You can create images directly on the Bing Image Creator site using prompts, similar to communicating with an AI chatbot.

To use the Bing Image Creator, you need to access Bing.com. This tool can be accessed via Bing Chat or by visiting Bing.com/Create. You don’t need Microsoft Edge to access the Bing Image Creator.

Once on the Bing Image Creator website, you’ll be prompted to join and create your account. After creating your account, you’ll be able to enter a description of the image you want to create and then click “Create.” The result will typically show four generated images for each prompt.

It’s important to be specific with your prompts to get accurate results. The more detailed the prompt, the better the result. Also, the style of the image you’re requesting will influence the outcome.

Each image generated using the Bing Image Creator is labeled as AI-generated for copyright purposes. The United States Copyright Office currently does not protect AI-generated images under copyright laws due to their lack of human authorship. Bing Image Creator is currently free to use, but you can pay for more “boosts” or credits if needed.

Microsoft is constantly evolving its AI tools, and the Bing Image Creator will soon integrate DALL-E 3 technology. This version of DALL-E will be available to ChatGPT Plus subscribers in the coming weeks. There is no waitlist to use the Bing Image Creator at this time.
