ON is partnering with the Guaranteed Rate Bowl, to be played at Chase Field in Phoenix on Tuesday, and Vrbo Fiesta Bowl, to be played at State Farm Stadium in Glendale on Jan. 1, to launch generative AI-enabled chatbots for attendees. ON’s enterprise platform answers event information (directions, concessions/retail locations, etc.), ticketing and venue policy queries for eventgoers. It will be accessible through the bowl games’ websites and mobile apps.
ON rebranded from GameOn Technology earlier this year and earlier this month raised $25 million in an investment round that brought the company’s total funding to $80 million. ON’s primary clientele remain sports teams and venues, but with its rebrand, the company is eyeing expansion outside of that industry as well, with Armani and Valentino as two notable non-sports clients. Co-founder and CEO Alex Beckman was named a 2023 SBJ Power Player in fan experience technology.
