Informatica, a leader in cloud data management, has introduced the first-ever complementary service for cloud data loading, integration, and ETL/ELT – Informatica Cloud Data Integration-Free and PayGo.

This innovative offering is designed for both data specialists and non-tech users in areas such as marketing, sales, and revenue operations, allowing them to create data pipelines in a matter of minutes. For instance, it equips operations teams with a swift, no-cost, and seamless method to load, integrate, and evaluate valuable campaign, pipeline, forecast, and revenue data. Moreover, data analysts and engineers will experience enhanced productivity and fast-paced development.

This release marks the second installment in a series that commenced with the launch of Informatica Data Loader in May 2022. In conjunction with Informatica Data Loader, Cloud Data Integration-Free (CDI-Free), and PayGo (CDI-PayGo), these tools represent the industry’s sole free solutions for data loading and integration. They are inherently designed to deliver intelligent cloud data management services tailored to various data-driven applications. Informatica CDI-Free, CDI-PayGo, and Data Loader are compatible with all leading data warehouse/lake solutions, including Amazon Redshift, Azure Synapse, Databricks Delta Lake, Google BigQuery, and Snowflake.

Jitesh Ghai, chief product officer at Informatica, stated: “We are transforming the data integration landscape by making services free, user-friendly, and accessible to all. Organizations encounter the challenge of processing vast amounts of data from various sources and must derive meaningful insights from that information. There is a pressing demand for no-setup, no-code SaaS data integration solutions that are free and pay-as-you-go, enabling business-focused data engineers, as well as non-technical business users and analysts, to swiftly commence operations.

“By granting business and non-technical users access to straightforward, cost-effective data integration tools, organizations can democratize data access.”

The foundation of a truly data-driven organization lies in offering self-service data integration to individuals in both technical and business positions. Informatica CDI-Free and PayGo achieve this:

  • CDI-Free: A complimentary service that allows users to process up to 20 million rows for ELT or utilize 10 processing hours for ETL each month, whichever comes first.
  • CDI-PayGo: Offers all the functionalities of CDI-Free with no restrictions on the number of processing rows or hours of use. CDI-PayGo includes essential customer support and complies with SOC2 regulations. Furthermore, users only pay for what they actually use via credit card.

Users gain from straightforward setup and utilization of these data integration services, powered by AI-driven automation—no coding, setup, or DevOps expertise required. Additionally, the cloud data loading and ETL/ELT integration services are conveniently accessible through each of Informatica’s ecosystem partners, including Amazon Web Services, Databricks, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, and Snowflake.

Chris Eldredge, VP of data office at Paycor, remarked: “Harnessing the potential of data provides a significant competitive advantage. Having an effective data integration platform establishes a data foundation that fosters agility, insights, and innovation for outstanding business outcomes. The newly introduced Cloud Data Integration (CDI)-Free and PayGo products reduce the barriers to entering data integration. These innovations will pave the way for more data professionals, including tech-savvy business users, to utilize premier data integration tools from Informatica.”

Matt Wienke, CEO of Infoverity, added: “Cloud Data Integration (CDI)-Free and PayGo serve as platforms that will assist newcomers to the data integration field. The tools are user-friendly and easy to navigate. CDI-Free will empower knowledgeable business users to start transferring their data to the cloud without incurring software costs. Furthermore, the ability to upgrade to Informatica’s enterprise-grade cloud platform mitigates risks during the trial and adoption of these tools.”
