  1. Its tragic how many people do not even know about browser alternatives. You look up browser market share and Chrome holds over 90%
People who use Edge say its better than Chrome… Edge, the successor to one of the worst browsers is better than Chrome

Regular folk need to know about alternatives, especially Firefox and Brave

  2. This needs to go through the court system. I feel like any reasonable judge with half a brain, if you tell them “I bought this show to be able to watch it, and if I pirated it I would go to jail for stealing, so is Sony not stealing this show from me?” Case closed.

We need to set precedent for this shit.

  3. Seriously? No powerful GPUs for China? They are the ones who make them –… America once again trying to control the entire world. It's not as if Russia was used to, when decided, go full "then we'll make our own" or as if China already had the tech, facilities and so on and so forth and that both just happen to be on good terms. I don't know what the US and EU politicians are playing but it is a dangerous game. I don't want to get nuked over some rich asshole's tweet of the day.

  4. I don't think these export controls on technology will work in the long run. China will just find ways to reverse engineer and make the stuff themselves in a couple years. Yeah it slows them a little but not much. Plus ai research can be done on slower chips and then work faster when put on fast chips so it's not actually doing much to hinder research. Pretty sure chatgpt can run effectively on slower servers.
