The Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy and Remote Work Applications Office in the UAE government has announced a significant partnership with UiPath, a leader in enterprise automation and AI. This collaboration aims to advance a transformative approach to automation known as Agentic Automation, which harnesses the power of artificial intelligence.

This partnership will center on developing AI-driven automation solutions tailored for government entities while simultaneously equipping UAE talent with essential AI skills.

Memorandum of Understanding Signed

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), which aligns with the UAE National Strategy for AI, was signed by Omar Sultan Al Olama, the minister of state for Artificial Intelligence and Digital Economy, alongside Daniel Dines, founder and CEO of UiPath. This agreement emphasizes the UAE’s vision to solidify its position as a global leader in AI by the year 2031.

Government’s Commitment to Advanced Technology Partnerships

Abdulrahman Al Mahmoud, director at the Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications Office, highlighted the government’s commitment to fostering partnerships with entrepreneurs and private companies specializing in advanced technology. The goal is to achieve the objectives outlined in the UAE National Strategy for AI.

Al Mahmoud further elaborated that AI-powered automation will serve as a crucial enabler for enhancing government services. These partnerships are envisioned to strengthen the capabilities of the government workforce, preparing them for roles that depend heavily on AI technologies.

Participants in the program will gain vital automation and AI skills utilizing the UiPath Business Automation Platform. The training framework, facilitated by the UiPath Academy, will provide participants an opportunity to earn UiPath Certified credentials.

Joint Development of AI and Automation Roadmap
