According to a new report from Taiwanese site Economic Daily News, Apple’s next-generation A18 chips for mobile and M4 chips for Mac will likely feature an upgraded neural engine with significantly more AI cores. This upgrade aligns with Tim Cook’s promise of huge AI announcements. Recent reports also indicate that Apple will be launching a suite of generative features as part of iOS 18, most likely at WWDC in June. Apple’s silicon standard neural engine has had 16 cores since the iPhone 12, but certain configurations of Mac Studio and Mac Pro have had neural engines with up to 32 cores.

The sad thing is there used to be a device that was exactly that you would wear it on your head and you can move the mouse and do certain things with your computer before all this talk like we're talking Windows 95 Windows 98 kind of s*** Innovation my ass they're just bringing back something that's old

  2. Sounds like wyze and unifi use the same services since unifi had the same issue, but even worse where some users actually gained control of others gateways and stuff… Never heard about the Unifi stuff in this channel, probably because unifi/Ubiquiti have Linus in their pocket…

    Still waiting on Linus or another big channel to expose that issue and bring attention to it…
